Description
Emotional Rescue a 1st pressing from June 1980 in the UK. Matrix A-4U/B-1U [the very first version]. No mention of 'copying or hiring' in the perimeter text. Stamped with 'Sterling' - where the record was initially mastered. The record comes housed in its original cover and includes the gigantic poster and original inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete....And, even better, this copy has been kept in archive condition...
Vinyl (Ex+) Shiny like new and has clearly only seen minimal use. Even under close inspection I can't make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with barely a hint of interference. We detected only a couple of very brief patches of ultra-light static - but that really was all that was vaguely detectable. Playback quality is just beautiful - prefect clarity, lush presentation, realistic highs and lows. A hotstamper no less...
Cover (Ex) Again, it has been well cared for. Nothing really that obvious to note. There's some ultra light creases and a touch of wear to the spine, but it in all other respects it is in top condition. Overall it still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner Sleeve (Ex+) No splits. Doesn't seem to have aged either.
Poster (NM) I would say this poster has, possibly, never been opened out more than once or twice. It practically looks like new. Under close inspection there's no markings or even tears at the creases. So, someones really looked after it down the years.
