Description

An original 1st issue of EOMS on the UK Rolling Stones label. matrix A2/B2/C2/D3. Please note one of the discs is etched with 'Rolling Stones Records' and the other isn't.. I'd estimate that this copy comes right at the end of the initial chart run. But definitely from '72 as the labels are showing perimeter text only in the southern sector. The vinyl comes housed in an original box design printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included are both original square cornered inner sleeves. 
Vinyl (Ex-) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - nothing heavy or sinister looking. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with a few slight deviations. By and large a nice clean player which does a great job of revealing this STONES classic in all its glory. Interference is minor and infrequent. The only deviations were a bit of light static in the intros to the openings numbers...e.g. Rocks/All Down TL/Virginia. Pretty minor and mostly consigned to the 1st minute of the song. Certainly nothing invasive. 'Let Loose' also exhibits a touch of light static - this track is nigh on impossible to find playing clean. Overall a very decent rendition which should satisfy most folks requirements. If you're looking for a stone cold minter - you will need to look in a higher price range..
Cover (Vg+) Many examples surface looking quite aged, but this copy looks very nice and clean. The surfaces are clean and relatively unworn. The interior follows suit looking very smart. Edge wear is quite light for this title. All the text on the spine is still legible - not always an easy find. Overall the cover retains much of its original rigidity and box shape.
Inners (Vg) Bit aged. Bit of edge wear. No splits by the looks of things.
