The Rolling Stones, First LP, UK Decca mono LP, BEAT
The Rolling Stones, Same.
UK pressed Decca Records mono LP, LK 4605.Later red and silver label with boxed Decca logo pressing, housed in non-laminated sleeve with internal back flaps.
Matrix Numbers:Side One: XARL-6271-6A - SideTwo: XARL-6272 -12A.
Vinyl in mostly very clean condition. Spider trace marks around the spindle areas indicates a fair few plays, although not excessively so. Vinyl surfaces still have a good gloss. A few light surface hairline marks and scuffs are visible, but there are no really deep marks or scratches.
Playback is mostly very clean and bright. There is no underlying background noise or crackle. Every now and then some light crackle is evident, and one or two soft ticks are heard, but these moments are quiet enough and infrequent enough not to be any great hindrance to listening enjoyment.
Labels are clean and undefaced.
Sleeve in mostly clean condition. No heavy creases, seam splits or fraying. Front panel has some light handling creasing and a few pinches and half moon crescents to laminate. A touch of storage ringwear rubbing, but only mildly so. Rear panel is slightly grubby, and with ringwear darkening. Some areas have been defaced with pen and there is a pen smudge mark to top right. Else sleeve is fairly clean and tidy, and not excessively worn.
