Description
The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
(Decca LK 5025 UK LP 1969)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve which has a small circular die-cut Mono/ Stereo cut-out on the rear sleeve. The sleeve has the "Poster" sticker on the front. Sadly the Poster is missing. It comes with its original custom "red border" Information company (Decca) paper inner sleeve. This has the track details printed on one side. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has red "unboxed" Decca labels. The 1st press matrix numbers are XARL 9363 P-1A and XARL 9364 P-1A.
A genuine UK 1st Mono pressing with the earliest matrix numbers, Inner Sleeve & stickered front sleeve. These are getting rare nowadays!
Sleeve: There is some light or very mild rubbing wear to the sleeve opening in some areas. There is some light or very mild ringwear. There is some light or very mild foxing on the rear sleeve in some areas. There are a few light laminate creases on the front. There is some light or very minor rubbing wear to the corner tips. VG++ condition
Vinyl: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 5 light hairline marks. These are, in the main, quite small but there is one longer hairline mark on one side. Good++ condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show light or mild spindle wear only. The "red border" custom Inner Sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. Side 1 plays VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. Side 2 plays Good+ to VG overall & VG+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There is some more moderate crackle, here & there, on the 1st two tracks on Side 2. it is not too obtrusive. This eases out by the 3rd track. There are no loud clicks or pops. It certainly does not jump or stick. It is a reasonable audio copy overall.
I shall place the vinyl in a separate plain paper inner sleeve. This will protect the original inner sleeve from any damage during transit.
