THE ROLLING STONES - LET IT BLEED (UK DECCA, LK 5025, 1969)
Here we have the increasingly elusive MONO pressing of Let It Bleed... I'm sure you all know how rare this is becoming now. This is the second pressing on the BOXED RED DECCA LABEL, which was issued literally months after the first pressing. It also comes complete with the original red customised Decca inner sleeve. Alas, there is no poster (as usual) but the original sticker advertising the poster is on the front so it obviously was in there at some point... Even without the poster, this is rare enough so don't miss out on the chance to hear the original mono mix (yes, it is different to the stereo one) in all it's glory...
Vinyl is in VG condition : I would grade this better, except there are a few noticeable surface marks - these don't affect play. Overall it plays through very well with some light surface noise and the odd crackle and pop.
Laminated sleeve is in VG condition : has the usual laminate creases along the edges and some handling creases. The spine has a few creases but is still perfectly readable. The sticker is in lovely condition, hasn't even had an attempt at being peeled. The mono/stereo hole has not been tampered with. There are a few light stains on the back.
The red inner sleeve is in VG- condition : the usual corner and edge creases and only one little nick on the opening. There is also a teacup stain on the near-bottom right hand side... People were so careless back then! Unusually, there are no splits or anything like that.
