A SUPERB, EXTREMELY RARE AND EARLY EXAMPLE OF THIS 1964 **SOLID CENTER** UNTRIMMED DECCA RECORDS, QUALITY CONTROL 45 SINGLE.

  I have acquired several different titles of original and very rare Rolling Stones Decca Records Factory, Quality Control Samples all with the rare solid centers. They all come from a very reliable source who worked in the industry during the 1960s. This rare single, and one of the very early titles, would have been selected from the Manufacturing  Production line before it entered into it’s final trimming process, and used for quality control testing, sound quality, vinyl quality and label printing quality, you can see from the scans below that the single is untrimmed and has a much wider play-in groove area.

  The 45 single is on the Blue with Silver Print, Solid Centre Decca Record Labels with the catalogue number of  F.11845.

  Both rare SOLID CENTRE record labels are in superb Excellent condition, very clean record labels to both sides, all the printed text is clearly legible, all that is visible are a few signs of play around the centre spindle holes.

  The side 1 stamped matrix’s are, XDRF 32719-T 1-2 C, and side 2, XDRF-32720-T 1-2 C.

  The stamper letters and numbers on side 1 are, 1 U I and side 2, 3 B B H.

  Both vinyl surfaces are in superb Excellent condition, both surfaces are absolutely free of deep scratches or scuffs and show just surface hairlines on both sides.  

The scan below shows the wide, untrimmed run-in groove.

Both sides of the single play with a clear sound quality, there are no clicks, pops, or skips.

  The single comes in it’s Original Orange Decca Records Company Bag and has been adapted to fit the over sized single and is in Excellent condition, no seam splits or tears.
