Description

The Rolling Stones No 2 Vinyl LP Record Decca Mono LK 4661. Matrix Numbers XARL-4661-1A and XARL - 6620-1A. The vinyl is in excellent condition albeit with the occasional surface mark/light scratch. It has been very lightly played for its vintage as attested by the fact that on close inspection under strong light only 6 or 7 light spindle traces are discernible on the labels of Side 1 and fewer on Side 2. On play grading it played very nicely with no discernible deterioration in sound quality. The cover is in excellent condition for its 50 years. The bottom edge of the back cover will need resticking where the adhesive has dried out over time. The laminated front has some creasing towards opening edge, some ring wear is discernible at front and top centre of back and there is some inevitable corner wear. The back has some yellowing at outer edges and the occasional blemish but the spine and opening edges are in very good shape. The charming poly-lined inner with record care instructions is in very good condition albeit with a closed 2cm tear around inner circle on one side.
