Description
ROLLING STONES - No.2 LP (1964 Decca LK.4661.Mono).
This is an original first pressing mono copy of this rare 12 track album in excellent condition with unboxed Decca labels.
The matrix codes in the run off grooves are :
Side 1 - XARL - 6619 - 2A Side 2 - XARL - 6620 - 2A
TRACKS: Everybody needs somebody to love, Down home girl / You can`t catch me / Time is on my side / What a shame / Grown up wrong / Down the road apiece / Under the boardwalk / I can`t be satisfied / Pain in my heart / Off the hook / Suzie Q.
The cover is laminated on the front and has some laminate creasing along bottom edges. The back cover is unlaminated and has only light ring wear along bottom but doesn`t look excessively aged. There are no scuffs or creases along the edges which remain totally intact and in their original shape.
The dark red and silver labels with the unboxed Decca labels are almost immaculate with only the very slightest spindle marks evident. This shows how little this album has been played.
The vinyl itself is amazingly glossy, and hasn`t been played often. Under strong light there are some very light surface marks. It is an original solid vinyl pressing that plays perfectly with a sharp, crisp sound to it.
The audio quality of this record is how The Stones were meant to be heard and can not be replicated by flimsy vinyl repressings or remastered CD productions.
Overall, I would describe the vinyl and label in Excellent condition and the cover in Very good + condition as per Record Collector descriptions.
I offer a full money back guarantee (minus postage costs) if you are not entirely happy.
