Description

The Rolling Stones "Now !"

This is a US Mono vinyl pressing on London LL3420  from 1964.     This album reached #5 on Billboard on 4/10/65.     It was their third US album.

The labels are maroon with London in a box and with silver print.     The back cover has the original long liner notes.    Later cover removed the paragraph that says : "This is The Stones new disc within.   Cast deep in your pockets for the loot to buy this disc of groovies and fancy words.   If you don't have the bread, see that blind man, knock him on the head, steal his wallet and low and behold you have the loot, if you put in the boot, good, another one sold!"

The matrix numbers are hand etched : side one : ARL-6691-1C and side two : ARL-6692-1C.

The songs are : Everybody Needs Somebody To Love, Down Home Girl, You Can't Catch Me, Heart Of Stone, What A Shame, Mona, Down The Road Apiece, Off The Hook, Pain In My Heart, Oh Baby, Little Red Rooster, and Surprise Surprise.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is M

The cover is VG+ with no ring wear and no seam splits.   There is very light overall wear and the bottom right corner has a minor bump.      There is very tiny name on the back cover.     Also a 1/2 X 1 cover tear on the back cover at top left, which is white on white and very hard to notice ( see picture ).      The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint.    The vinyl looks unplayed.    The labels are clean with a few light spindle marks.  The record comes in a London Records inner sleeve.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 9 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 25 ounces ( 1 pound, 9 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.

Serious Bidders Only :

Serious bidders only.    If you bid you must be prepared to honor your bid.     I expect payment within three days, but will wait up to seven days, if you contact me.      I no longer accept bids from buyers with more than two strikes against them.
