Description

This the "Banned Cover" version of "Some Girls" - The first printing of the "Some Girls" album was censured as The Rolling Stone lawyers could not get permission to use those actors' images. The cover design was challenged legally when Lucille Ball, Farrah Fawcett, Liza Minnelli (representing her mother Judy Garland), Raquel Welch, and the estate of Marilyn Monroe threatened to sue for the use of their likenesses without permission.
Some Girls was a critical success, with many reviewers calling it a classic return to form for the band and their best album since Exile on Main St. (1972). It became the only Rolling Stones album to be nominated for a Grammy Award in the Album of the Year category. Retrospectively, it has continued to receive acclaim, with many commending the band's ability to blend contemporary music trends with their older signature style. Some Girls is considered one of the band's finest records, and Rolling Stone has included it in their lists of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".  (Wikipedia)

Bright Blue-Pink-Green-Yellow Version with red "Some Girls" text. B&W (Liza Minnelli) side of inner sleeve has COC 39108 in right upper corner.

This LP plays VG+ or better.  There is a "ump" noise for the first 20 spins of side 2, but then it stops and the rest of side 2 is at least VG+.  (20 spins sounds like a lot but it is only 20 seconds)
Matrix / Runout (Side 1 runout, Variant 2 - Etched except "STERLING" stamped): STERLING TJ ST RS 784079 DD 23467 (11) (PR)
