The sixth Uk Album from the Stones was a play on the text found within the British Passport which read “Her Britannic Majesty Requests”. 

The album is the only one they self produced as a result of their manager Andrew Oldham quit due to a lack of focus. The Album divided critics and band members alike who felt it was a derivitive of the Beatles SGT. Pepper. However over the years, its reputation has grown in stature.

Vinyl condition*: VG

Labels: Both sides are clean with some noticeable spindle marks 

Spindle hole: There is some wear to the edges of the hole on each side 

Playing surface: Both sides look good. When turned to the light there are hairlines, light scuffs and handling marks on both sides, but overall it presents well. 

Run Off: There are some light marks. 

Sound*: EX

After listening right through this album, the sound is great with the occasional spell of trace noise. Overall there is great depth and range of sound with nice clear sound. Nice thick press with no skips or jumps.

Overall its a nice sounding copy

Cover & sleeve*: NM

Spine: Perfectly readable text, lovely straight edge, with a tiny rub to the very top edge

Seams: No splits, very tidy and straight, with a couple of tiny nicks if you look really close

Opening: Lovely and straight 

Front Cover: Looks superb with no damage, just one tiny black mark at 3 o'clock 

Back Cover: Just superb, mark free

Sleeve: The red psych inner is damage free with a few light creases

Overall a superb cover, inner and sound. Whilst the vinyl is marked, it plays well and presents well too

VINYL GRADE DESCRIPTION GUIDE

MINT (M): A perfect record that looks like it has just left the factory, with NO flaws what so ever looking as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record appears virtually flawless at first glance and has a great luster. It should only have very minor scuffs or marks on the surface of the vinyl, which are only visible under strong light. It should play without any noise particularly over the flaw. 

EXCELLENT (EX): A record with only minor scuffs, which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs or marks. It should play without any noise over the flaw.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record shows wear which could include surface scuffs and marks, blotches or stains. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause some surface noise. 

A plus (+) or (-) following the condition indicate variations of the condition i.e. VG+ is in slightly better condition than VG but not excellent.

SLEEVE & INSERTS GRADE DESCRIPTION GUIDE

MINT (M): The cover is free of any stickers, address labels, writing or labels. There are no tears or seam splits or wear / fading to the cover. The age of the record has not affected the condition. The cover, sleeve and any inserts (posters, stickers, lyric sheets) look brand new.

NEAR MINT (NM): The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age.

EXCELLENT (EX): The artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. There may be some impressions to the cover (minor outer ring wear) but no dis-colouration. It may have some slight creases to the corners, but no major wrinkling, holes or other damage. 

VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks clean but with slightly more wear. This could include some fading due to minor sun damage, but there will be know no stains or mildew from water damage. Some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through.

Packaged well using high quality card mailers. Each disc is placed in a plain sleeve to avoid seam splits during transit. The cover is placed in a 450g clear sleeve, with card stiffeners placed either side to protect the package.
