Well, what can I say about this ...Firstly I'm going to be as honest as I can possibly be by starting out telling you that when I slid this out of the cover I was mortified to find that somehow this record has obtained a quarter inch scratch toward the end of "Sing this all together" . This mark runs parallel to the track & not against it. I have play tested it & it does run through with no real distortion but this doesn't mean you'll get the same result on your system. I've owned this for over thirty years & there certainly wasn't a scratch on it when I put it away so , according to everyone indoors, "it must have scratched itself".....Not happy. Anyway, on with the rest.........The cover is in excellent shape with no bends or creases but has a slight bump to the top right hand corner (open edge side), no laminate lift ...Quite lovely in fact...EX The 3D centre piece is in very good condition but there is a fair amount of "Fogging" around the edges where it was hand glued on, maybe whoever had the job of sticking the on went a little to liberal with the glue ! A couple of surface marks don't really detract from the image...Overall still quite nice VG+ The original red & white inner sleeve is again in excellent condition with no rips, tears or bad creases...Really nice EX The vinyl, apart from the aforementioned defect, is in excellent condition with a few non sounding minor surface marks. I would have said EX but with that bloody scratch I'm knocking it way down to VG+ at best. Deep Groove labels in really nice condition but with several light spindle marks both sides. Matrix numbers ARL - 8126 - T2 - 2K & ARL - 8127 - T2 - 2K...Nice early & rare pressing .
So, should you have a wrecked cover but a nice LP that needs rehousing then this would be right up your street.
