Description

A 1st Mono pressing of 'Through The Past Darkly' on the Decca label from 1969. Matrix 1A/3A. Stampers 1U/1H. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original hexagonal gatefold cover. Please note 1st issue covers have the flipbacks exposed in the interior. Also included is the original hexagonal red and white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+) In very nice condition despite having seen a moderate level of use. Do expect a number of marks either side - nothing heavy or likely to cause serious issue tough. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are reasonably quiet and the audio comes across with very good clarity. Interference is relatively minor. Do expect a bit of static in a couple of tracks each side and then we also detected a couple of pops at the outset to '2000 light years'. This copy will not suit a hifi purist, but should more than impress/satisfy most folk. A very enjoyable rendition from the far more sought after mono version. 
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with barely a crease and minimal ageing. Ditto the rear. The interior is in lovely condition with perhaps just a touch of ageing to the flipbacks. Edge wear is pretty light and then just a bit of wear on the spine around the band name. Overall the cover still retains great rigidity and lies totally flat. 
Inner (Vg) The actual inner sleeve is in excellen condition with no ageing or splits. Marked down due to a name written in felt-pen on one side.
