Number 1,973 0f 3,500 copies in print, this collectors box set is in better then excellent condition. The "mint" word is over used. However, these LP 33 " Records" have had nor more than two spins around the turn table each. No evidenceof scratching or skipping, they vinyl has been in there individual wrappers since its delivery except for the tep play times! Carefully cleanded and returned to their wrapper, these disks are accompanied by a 32 page tribute book with a lot of pictorial of the Basie Years! Quite a story told in these pages of some of the greatest music that has ever graced the planet. When these 3,500 copies hit the market, I think a little over 10 years ago, they retailed for $249.00 for the box of 14 LP's and the tribute book. I saw one go here on eBay about two weeks ago for $435.00. So they have appreciated. I am going to start this out slight higher that the original retail and you tell the market if they canmeet or exceed the last sale of $435.00 or not.
