Description

"Sharon's Smile," by The Ruby Chain, released on Ruby Records in Holland in 1985. Brilliant album by this Dutch group, an unknown classic of C86 guitar pop, with ten tracks of superb, impassioned vocals and dynamic jangle, in the vein of The Wedding Present and McCarthy. Wonderful music, some tracks uniquely colored by violin. A gem of an obscurity - someone out there must know how great this album is, even though it doesn't appear on any lists or blogs. My highest recommendation. Both vinyl and cover in excellent condition. Please note that my scanner cannot capture the entire breadth of the cover.
