Very Nicely preserved and no doubt getting hard to find, original UK copy of The Saints 1977 LP "I'm Stranded"
This album is presented on the EMI - Harvest Recording label - Catalogue number is SHSP 4065
About the album:
The Outer Sleeve:
Remains in its original factory issue format, for its age it is really well preserved with no creasing or other common age related issues to comment on.
The Inner Sleeve:
Is the factory pressed white insert and is in good clean order. Again, no rips, tears or writing etc.
The Vinyl:
Presents on both sides with a very good + nr excellent ,clear glossy sheene.
Side One:
A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions does not reveal any scratches / surface marks that are of any particular concern to me, I have played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of very good quality and faithful.As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album and on intro's play off's, with the right cleaning cloth these can be eradicated. At no time on side one is there any skipping, jumping or sticking.Please see photo's.
Side Two:
Similarly,a close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of side two does not reveal any scratches / surface marks that are of any particular concern to me again, I have played side two and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is again of very good quality and faithful. As with any vinyl - again, one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust on quitter sections of the album - there is though, no skipping, jumping or sticking througout the entire duration of side two.
Overall, and in my considered opinion,this album plays to a very good audio standard.
The record labels are in very good clean order. Please see photo's.
