Description
Here's a very rare American folk gem recorded back in 1960-61 in at Shaker communities in Canterbury, New Hampshire and Sabbthday Lake, Maine. It contains both spoken sides and musical sides that explore Shaker culture and heritage. It was produced by William Randle and published by the Press of Western Reserve University as part of the American Culture series. This is hand marked as number 158 in a very limited edition of 250. Original insert is included.
Condition - The box looks OK from the front, but it shows significant wear including broken corners, so it grades at VG. The records are housed in plain white sleeves, which all seem to be in NM- condition with light pencil writing. Most records look unplayed and grade at NM to NM-.
Regarding shipping - I use new high quality materials and pack carefully.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on records that have been unsealed - the highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading on this auction is strictly by sight.
I accept paypal and U.S. Money Orders.
