The Shining Original Pressing Soundtrack Vinyl 1980 - LP WB 56 827 - Rare.
The Composer Wendy Carlos was a pioneer of electronic music etc. which is why Stanley Kubrick chose her to write a soundtrack for the Shining.
One of the most atmospheric soundtracks I have ever heard, (Played on Spotify not Vinyl), about the only soundtrack to come close is under the skin by Mica Levi, also up for sale!
Condition is EX+
Vinyl is Mint - clearly has not been played or handle over the years.
I have owned this LP for approx 10 years and never played it.
i am only selling this LP as all my records are up for sale over the next month as it is silly having records like I have in my collection sitting in a record rack never being played.
I listen to all my music now on Spotify premium.
Dealers/Discogs are asking for 100 quid plus for this album and as an owner of vinyl for over 40 years, not a dealer, the condition of this LP for 1980 is as good as you will ever get!
Or go and pay 100 quid plus for some other copy from an advert with lots of big words and promises.
I am happy to say people have been buying my records from all over the world over the past few months with hardly any people being unreasonable.
I still have approx 200 ish LP’s left to advertise - Original and Rare Pixies/Frank Black/QOTSA/Supergrass/Smiths/PJ Harvey/White Stripes/Madonna and more.
All Rare and Owned since new by me.
