Description

An original 1st press of Floodlands on the UK Merciful label. Matrix A1/B1 - very 1st cut. The vinyl comes housed in an original limited edition cover - number no.3624. Also included is the original inner sleeve and the lyric/poster insert. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) A lovely copy that has seen only light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with two deviations. Intros and inbetweens are very quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A really sweet player and not all that much to take issue with here. The only deviations from the given grading is a few crackles here and there and a couple of ticks in 1959.. Nothing invasive - it just doesn't play as clean as the rest of the LP. And then in the opening plain song in the intro to Corrosion - expect a bit of background. Don't worry - it dissipates quickly. Overall expect a stellar performance.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) A lovely looking cover - you will struggle to go better. The front and back are borderline immaculate. I can only make out a tiny stress crease in the top left on the front against the spine. Then there's a minute scuff mark down at the foot on the rear - difficult to spot. Edge wear is pretty much non-existent and the openings still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) A touch of light edge wear. No splits...very smart.
Poster/Lyric Insert (Ex+) Pretty much immaculate.
