Description

The Smashing Pumpkins – Monuments to an Elegy – Limited Edition Lime Green / White Swirl Vinyl LP – Signed & Numbered by Billy Morgan

Originally released in December 2014, Monuments to an Elegy is the ninth studio album from The Smashing Pumpkins, and the follow-up to 2012's Oceania. Written by Billy Corgan and produced by Corgan alongside Howard Willing and Jeff Schroeder, the album pairs the band's trademark guitar-driven sound with a tighter, more immediate approach.

The recording features Corgan on vocals, guitar and bass alongside guitarist Jeff Schroeder, with Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee performing drums across the album. Compact by Pumpkins standards, Monuments to an Elegy contains nine tracks and includes the singles Being Beige, One and All (We Are) and Drum + Fife.

This copy is the extremely limited 2014 Madame ZuZu's edition, originally available exclusively through Billy Corgan's Madame ZuZu's website.

Pressed on distinctive lime/pale green marbled vinyl with white swirling, this special edition was strictly limited to 1,000 individually numbered copies worldwide, with each copy hand-signed by Billy Corgan.

With only 1,000 copies produced, individual numbering, an exclusive coloured pressing and Billy Corgan's original signature, this is a considerably scarcer edition than the standard 2014 and subsequent vinyl pressings of the album.
