Description
The Smiths - Girlfriend In A Coma 7" vinyl single record UK RT197 ROUGH TRADE 1987
An excellent condition copy of Girlfriend in a Coma by The Smiths that has a Morrissey signature on the front cover along Shelagh Delaney’s chin! (she wrote A Taste of Honey).
The single is from 1987 and I don’t think the record has ever been played - it also has an intact 4-prong push-out centre. It is in excellent condition as is the cover.
I’ve had the record for nearly 20 years and I bought it from Lizard Records, 12 Lower Goat Lane, Norwich on the understanding that the Morrissey signature on the cover was completely genuine.
They assured me that this was the case and as can be seen from the letter they provided with the single they were definitely under the impression that the single had been authentically autographed when they sold it to me.
I will supply this original letter with the single but other than that I can’t vouch anymore for the authenticity of the autograph.
