Comments: Vinyl is as near mint as you will ever see. Slight ring wear on the sleeve

This is not one of the recent Rhino re-issue singles, but rather an authentic original release of the Smiths' debut single released in May 1983. It may be identified as a first pressing by the 'indented' centre style of the label and the 'Glad Hips Music 1983' credit, which was changed on later pressings. The sleeve is also distinguishable in that a Manchester contact address (70 Portland Street) and phone number are given at the foot on the reverse. Being the first pressing of the first release by The Smiths this item has become highly sought-after amongst collectors, but what makes this item so remarkable is the truly outstanding condition in which it has been kept.

 

I am the original owner and brought my record collection with me to the United States from the UK. I have taken great care of my records over the years and you will find them generally in outstanding condition.I will be as accurate as I can in describing each record.
