Offered here is an original UK first pressing of Hatful Of Hollow by The Smiths, released on Rough Trade Records in 1984.

This iconic first issue features Morrissey's famous hand-etched runout phrases "THE IMPOTENCE OF ERNEST" on Side A and "Ian (EIRE)" on Side B alongside the first-press A1 / B1 stampers. Capturing legendary BBC Radio 1 John Peel and David Jensen session recordings alongside essential non-album singles, this compilation features timeless anthems including How Soon Is Now?, William, It Was Really Nothing, Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now, and Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want.

Housed in its original sleeve featuring the Gilles Martin cover photo, complete with its original printed lyric inner sleeve and rare blue price hype sticker.

Grading VG++/VG+, this is an outstanding, complete copy of an essential 1980s indie landmark.
