The Smiths - 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now' White Label 7" - 1984

Early Smiths UK single releases were promoted with 7" 'white label' test pressings rather than the more common 12" pressings which accompanied the later releases. This auction is for an extremely rare and collectable white label 7" pressing of 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now', released in 1984. Examples of this record seldom come up for sale, and this one has the benefit of having survived in superb condition (see below).The vinyl and labels are in strong excellent condition, there are just some very light 'hairline' surface marks on the vinyl which are only visible when held to the light. The labels are clean with no writing and very few spindle marks indicating that the record has been played just once or twice. The vinyl is housed, as issued, in a plain black paper outer sleeve. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
