Original US promotional pressing of Meat Is Murder by The Smiths, issued on Rough Trade / Sire Records (1985).
This copy includes all key promo identifiers:
• “Lent for Promotional Use Only” gold-stamped jacket text
• Original “Special U.S. Edition – Contains Bonus Cut ‘How Soon Is Now?’” hype sticker
• Correct yellow Sire labels with Rough Trade credit
• Original inner sleeve
Vinyl condition:
Very clean, glossy playing surface with light, sleeve-related hairlines only. No deep scratches or feelable marks. Plays strong.
Sleeve condition:
Solid overall with normal age wear. Corners and edges show light handling, but artwork remains crisp. Promo text and hype sticker are clear and intact.
This is a true collector copy, not a later reissue — increasingly hard to find complete with the original hype sticker.
