Description

Here we have a unique and original example of indie pop history from 1986.
The poster is an original 1986 promotional display poster designed just for display inside record shops and so was limited in number when produced, often thrown away after a couple of weeks and so very few genuine originals survived.  This one I begged from a small record shop in Sheffield in 1986 and I have owned it since then.
Now 31 years old, the poster is still in good used condition.  It has a small tear along it's right edge where the fold is going across the middle. (The fold across the middle is actually one way you know it's genuine as this is how Rough Trade sent them out to shops). There are a couple more faint folds near the top and bottom. Please use the zoom function to examine the poster.  The are small bits of blue tack on the rear that will probably come off but I didn't want to risk damaging the poster pre sale.

The poster is 29 cm X 59.5 cm
I have priced the poster based on extreme rarity and the general good condition the poster has survived in.  In excellent condition the poster will sell in excess of £250.

It deserves to be properly framed and hung so more people can see what this historic poster actually looked like 'in the flesh'.  I currently do not have the space to do this but I am hoping someone out there is able to properly host this unique item.
