Japanese 1980s vinyl releases are renowned for being pressed on high-quality vinyl, with lavish packaging, and issued in limited numbers; all of which have made them highly desirable amongst collectors and very difficult to get hold of. This auction is for an original 1984 Tokuma Japan release of 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now', and is complete with both its original OBI strip and rare Japanese lyrics insert. This record appeared in 2005 in Record Collector's Top 100 rarities at number 45, and is a very highly-prized item indeed. This copy has survived in outstanding condition (see below) and it would be hard to find one for sale these days which has been better preserved.The vinyl and labels are in superb near mint condition, having been played just once or twice but having been extremely well looked after; there are no visible surface marks on the highly-glossy pristine vinyl. The outer sleeve is also in near mint condition, with no marks, creasing or seam splits and having strong sharp edges with barely even any 'corner wear' on this superb sleeve. The OBI strip is in strong excellent condition, with no marks or tears, and would be even better but for one small crease on the reverse which does not significantly detract from the appearance of this impressive item. The rare Japanese lyric paper insert is also in strong excellent condition, with no significant marks and no creases anywhere. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
