Hello!
Up for auction today is a rare limited edition double 10" LP of the Smiths' live album, "Rank". This was part of a series issued by WEA in the UK/Europe in 1993. At that time I was collecting all things Smiths, so naturally I bought as many of these as I could find from a Metro Detroit record shop that is now sadly long gone. I'm now at pretty much maximum capacity for vinyl and unfortunately must part with some of these collectors items!
This copy is numbered 0999 and is in great condition. The records themselves are near mint and may be unplayed -- I don't recall playing them at any point but I can't be 100% certain. As you would expect, the vinyl is glossy and extremely clean. Like most UK vinyl of that time period, these never came in shrink-wrap (just bagged), and my philosophy is that nothing "open" can be classified Mint (hence the NM rating). This has lived in its bag for its entire life, but I'll call the cover VG+ for 2 reasons: A piece of tape somehow got itself attached to the back cover (I am not attempting to remove it, which would probably tear the cover), and there is just the slightest hint of ringwear on the front and back - probably because both records are in a single sleeve (see photos). Note that the photos show the exact item you will receive.
Shipping will be via USPS. This will be well-packed, with plenty of padding, and with the records removed from the sleeve to prevent seam splitting.
