Description
The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! The Smiths - 'Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before' Holland 12" - 1987

The title track was never released as a single in the UK, as originally intended, apparently due to the line referring to "mass murder" which was deemed inappropriate in light of the Hungerford tragedy around that time. The track was released on a 12" single in Germany, Australia and, as seen here, Holland, with different coloured sleeves accompanying the Murray Head artwork in each case. Released in a red sleeve in Germany and a yellow/orange sleeve in Australia, this Dutch release was given a subtle shade of grey and was placed at Number 70 in the 2005 'Smiths Top 100 Rarities' Record Collector article. The record and sleeve are in superb condition (as detailed below), with the record having been stored outside of its sleeve since being in my possession. This is a very nice genuine collectable which does not come up for sale all that often.The vinyl and labels are in strong excellent condition, with barely any marks on the glossy vinyl save for one superficial line which almost certainly does not affect play (but a refund will be given on request if this turns out to be the case); the record appears to have been played just once or twice. The grey outer sleeve is also in strong excellent condition and appears outstanding, being highly glossy with no marks, creases or apparent signs of wear. There is just one small region where the surface gloss has come away due, no doubt, to the removal of a price sticker, but this is only visible when held to the light. There are no seam splits and very little corner wear at all. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
