Description

An original 1st press of STRANGEWAYS on Rough Trade from '87. Matrix A2/B2. Etching 'Guyfawkes Was A Genius'. The vinyl comes housed in an original EMBOSSED cover and bespoke inner sleeve. So 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Please be aware there are a few light marks per side, a couple of superficial trails - nothing remotely troublesome though. There's also some superficial bag-rashing on each side too. So, the surfaces are not that great to look at [be aware!], but the audio will more than make up for any cosmetic issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. As mentioned above - surface are not particularly appealing. But hey! The audio totally makes up for it. Super audio - really vibrant and nicely clean signalled. I'm struggling to find fault. Plays clean into the quieter moments. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) In lovey condition without the wear that can appear on that embossed lettering. There is one small spot between the eyes of the chap on the front. The rear is spot on - no issues. Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. Slight wear at bottom right corner.  The text on the spine is fully legible, but expect a touch of wear and light ageing. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) In excellent order. There's a two inch side split. I have tape repaired internally - so it is just a minor cosmetic issue now.
