Description

First edition, 2nd variant, LP of The Smiths' The Queen Is Dead. This vinyl record features the iconic indie rock band's hits with an original cardboard sleeve and cover. The inlay and sleeve condition is excellent (EX), and the record grading is very good plus (VG+) with some hairline skiff marks that make no difference to the great sound. There are a couple of quiet clicks towards the end of the title track. The original pink marketing sticker on the front has the word 'Penny' written on it. The back sleeve (see sep pic) has 'scoring' on it where someone has used a pen on paper that was on top of the sleeve and although there are no ink marks there are pressure marks on the cardboard. The label on side 2 (see pic) has been 'broken' during the pressing process. Released in 1986 by Rough Trade, this LP showcases The Smiths' unique style and sound that defined the 1980s. The catalogue number is Rough96. This vinyl includes original inner sleeve and cover. This will be dispatched using custom made cruciform packaging.
