The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

The 'UK Buzz' LPs were an interesting set of radio promotional compilations aimed at promoting UK 'alternative' music to the US audience and were presented by the late great John Peel. The LP contains a track each from bands such as The Fall, Del Amitri, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and, of course, The Smiths; there are ten tracks in total as well as the aforementioned introductory narrative from John Peel. The Smiths track is the well-known live recording of 'Meat Is Murder'. This record provides an interesting snapshot of the UK music scene at the time, and there is even the original stapled booklet included which has the unused feedback sheet by which means the recipient was supposed to give their opinions of the tracks. These feedback sheet are now very rare since they had to be sent off by a certain deadline in order for the subscriber to remain on the distribution list. All in all an interesting and obscure Smiths collectable which is not often seen up for sale.The vinyl and labels are in excellent condition, having been played for its intended use with mild to moderate surface marks which do not affect play. The booklet is in strong excellent condition with no major marks other than one very faint (coffee?) stain. It has been folded for distribution, appearing consistent with its age and clearly the original rather than a photocopy. The outer sleeve is a standard white 'die cut' sleeve which has some minor marks here and there. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
