Description
The Smiths - William, It Was Really Nothing' b/w 'How Soon Is Now?'
RT166 1987 UK Pressing.
This release has the rare lilac sleeve artwork showing actress Billy Whitelaw from the film 'Charlie Bubbles' directed by Albert Finney (1967). The more common green sleeve had been withdrawn by this stage due to legal reasons.
Run-out groove etchings 'THE IMPOTENCE OF ERNEST / WE HATES BAD GRAMMER' around label.
The record itself has barely been played, and not at all in the last two decades (at least). Near-mint condition, one very careful owner, lovingly stored. One discernible mark in the centre of the front cover of the sleeve, and very slight crease to bottom right hand corner (see photo).
Will be dispatched in appropriate record packaging to protect the record and sleeve.
