The Sonics "The Sonics Boom"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on Etiquette ETALBS 027 from 1968. This was their second monster album. They are true garage rock originators. Their original albums are impossible to find even here in the Northwest. And when you do find them, they are usually wasted. This copy is in very good condition and will be a huge addition to the winners record collection. My minimum bid is kinda high, but it's worth it.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Record is VG+
The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+. There are a few light handling marks on each side, but nothing bad. The cover is VG+ with no writing and no seam splits. There is very slight partial ring wear, only on the front cover on top half. The labels are clean with a few light spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
The songs are : Cinderella, Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, Let The Good Times Roll, Don't You Just Know It, Jenny Jenny, He's Waiting, Louie Louie, Since I Fell For You, Hitch Hike, It's Alright, and Shot Down.
I have been buying and selling records for more than 25 years. I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.
I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 3/4 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) It will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal with a tracking number. Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will remove the record from the cover and place them in a plastic bag. I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. There are no handling charges. This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
