Description

The Specials - Very Rare Original 1979 US Issue Test Pressing LP 2-Tone Ska Mod

A very rare original US test pressing of the brilliant debut LP by The Specials with Gangsters included (not on UK issue). Comes in a generic cardboard sleeve onto which a Chrysalis Records Label Copy sheet (dated November 1, 1979) has been attached. A very reluctant sale from LP from my own Specials collection.
Santa Maria pressing plant, matrix numbers:- CHR-1265 - AS SM1/CHR-1265-BS SM1
Cover & copy sheet in EX- condition with some hand annotations - see photos. Disc also in EX- condition with a couple of light scuffs.

See my other auctions for more rare Specials stuff.
