Description
The Specials - Very Rare Original 1980 US Issue Test Pressing LP 2-Tone Ska Mod
A very rare original US test pressing of the excellent More Specials LP by The Specials with Rat Race included (not on UK issue). Comes in a generic cardboard sleeve onto which a Chrysalis Records Label Copy sheet (dated August 29, 1980) has been attached.
Also included is a memo from the Chrysalis National Promotion Director regarding the promotional campaign to be undertaken with the public release of the LP - see photo.
A very reluctant sale from LP from my own Specials collection.
Santa Maria pressing plant, matrix numbers:- CHR-1503-AS-1A/CHR-1503-BS-1B
Cover & copy sheet in EX- condition with some hand annotations - see photos. Disc in VG+ condition with some light scuffs which don't affect play.
See my other auctions for more rare Specials stuff.
