Description
Marlena Shaw
The Spice of Life
Vinyl LP
CADET, 1969
Cat No: LPS-833 DJ Promo
This is simply an excellent copy of Marlena Shaw's second studio album. (see photos below)
This is the true first press from the US of the DJ promo on white labels.
Not only that, it's the extremely rare black cover as well, which is still in its shrink wrap (but opened one end).
I can find only one of these that has been sold over the last 10 years on the internet.
Minor shelf wear to the opening of the cover where the shrink wrap has pulled back.
The faint ring wear that can be seen in the photo is on the shrink wrap and not the album cover.
Spine, edges and corners all in excellent condition.
Vinyl is beautifully shiny and in strong light has a few light surface hairlines from inner sleeve removal.
No jumps or skips on playing and very little background noise that I could pick up.
Some very light spindle marks to the centre of the labels but difficult to see.
This is such a great record, I have been brutally honest about its condition as I am sure this will attract the attention of collectors.
