'BEALTITUDE: RESPECT YOURSELF' original UK 1973 vinyl LP. The Staple Singers.

This is a RARE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING UK RELEASE on STAX.

LABEL: STAX (2325 069 SUPER)

YEAR OF MANUFACTURE:  1972

COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: UK

VINYL CONDITION: EX+. The vinyl has retained its gloss and has the minimum of hairlines which are only visible under a strong light. Each track plays with a strong,clear and crisp output. Very minor age-crackle in the silent gaps/deadwax - but not that often!

There are a small number of faint clicks on both sides; so small, I'm happy to highlight them:

*This World (side one, track one) - four faint clicks during first four revolutions. Four more tiny clicks shortly afterwards.Hardly noticeable due to the track's strong production.

*Who Do You Think You Are? (side 2, track 3) - two faint clicks (one at the start, one towards the middle).

*Who (side two, track 5) - one faint click 9 revolutions in after the lyric '...mountain...'. Two further faint clicks on the fade out.

SLEEVE CONDITION: EX. This album has spent the last 35 years safely shelved. The spine has hardly any wear and is fully readable. The front and back has the minimal creasing on the edges. and, to the bottom-left on the front, a small area of laminate has peeled off. Rear cover is clear. Spine shows hardly any sign of wear and the text is fully readable. To the top right of the front cover is a white rectangular sticker with the words' 'UK ORIGINAL' inscribed (this can easily be removed). The cover has no rips or tears.

LABEL CONDITION: NM. Totally clean.
