As I work my way through this vinyl collection I am bemused by the condition of some, the ones I purchased new remain in an excellent condition and others are like this (shame really, I have seen these go for well over £100). However, when you think about you have to remember that a lot of these LP's were purchased in the days before eBay and other on-line retailers. It was either a Walsall Record Fair, fellow local Bowie collectors or a trip on the bus (no comfort on the buses in them days) to Reddingtons Rare Records in Birmingham. More often than not you were disappointed to buy nothing or came away with a well-worn LP which was at the time the only copy you were likely to see. Happy days!!!
