This sealed box set (VMP-A009) was released by Vinyl Me, Please (VMP) with Metal Blade Records in 2021, was limited to 1000 copies, and sold out quickly.
This copy is a very low #864/1000 and is still sealed and never opened. Box set has a minor rip to shrink wrap on corner; please review photos.
This compilation chronicles some of the best albums Metal Blade has put out over their long career as a label charting the evolution of metal over time. All of the 8 albums are pressed on high-quality 180-gram color splatter vinyl and housed in heavyweight, direct to board jackets and 2 of the albums are double LP's. There is a deluxe liner notes and photo booklet telling the story of Metal Blade through these 8 albums, along with the thoughts of the label's founder, Brian Slagel. The albums are housed in a premium commemorative 2-piece slip box and also included are a patch and official document.
