First off, by my count, there are 3 out four signatures on this. It seems to have been signed in 1980 unless they all wrote very slow.
This is a tough record to sell, but since I’ve never listened to it, I feel it needs to go into the hands of someone who loves it. I have a regular 1978 copy and that’s what I’ve listened to. I’ve had this since 1994 when I got it in Athens, GA. It cost me a lot in 1994 student dollars, but I was really into them then and so I put it on a kind of lay-away. To my mind it looks the exact same as it did back then. I was told, and I believe it, that it had been played a few times and came from a collection of purely mint stuff.
Anyway, as for the condition, the wax looks fantastic. Not a scuff or scratch on it. Taking a pic would be impossible because of the white throughout. I don’t know what it sounds like because I’ve never played it. I probably should, one time with my Grace F9E, so I’ll do no harm and be able to say something. Maybe if I’m asked a few times. There are no tears anywhere, including the sleeve. The jacket has a perfect notch on the top right hand side indicating that it is a promo copy, but on the other side it has a slight ding. The signatures are sharp and crisp, with less fade than the entire jacket. This is a 1978 A&M 2nd version release, not a re-issue.
