The Stranglers - Duchess - Demo/Promo Label Mispress

Description

This is an extremely rare label mispress on a Promo copy of Duchess. The A side label is missing. The B Side label, which also shows us it is a Promo, is rippled. Looks like the glue wasn't working when they pressed this copy?

These label mispresses did happen, with most issues and have a rarity/collectors value in themselves. However this being a Promo Copy makes this an extremely rare, maybe even unique, find.

The single is in a very good used condition, but its value lies in its rarity and historical significance. I can't see any marks on either record surface.

I have been a Stranglers fan and collector since 1977. All records are from my own collection.
