Description
The Strawbs self-titled album released in the UK (A & M Records AMLS 936) in 1969 contains some very memorable compositions...starting with 'The Man Who Called Himself Jesus', 'Or Am I Dreaming'...and several others. It contained all the striking elements that would later be taken to higher levels with each successive release. What is very apparent with this 1st UK pressing is the audio. A1/B1 matrix and Absolutely distortion-free, clear and outstanding sonics.
Condition of Gatefold Jacket: Excellent.....verging on Near Mint...with just a few barely noticeable creases and some extremely light edge wear. Signed on the front by David Cousins.
Condition of Record: Excellent+...verging on Near Mint....high gloss is evident with only faint sleeve removal marks/hairlines..Superb audio!
Original, dated inner-sleeve is included for collectors, but will not be housing the record due to it's Fair condition.
