This is a first edition, Friends Records FR 008"Incorrect Thoughts" is the first full length release by The Subhumans. The original album was released by Friends Records in 1980.
The album is still in the shrink wrap, but has been opened. Includes original lyric sheet insert. Inside of jacket is black. The story I heard is that the record company recycled unused covers from other bands and blacked out the original printing and printed on the reverse side for the The Subhumans to save costs. The sticker (Peaches records, remember them?) is on the shrink wrap.
I am grading this as NM since it is open. However, I can not see any defects whatsoever. The only thing that might be worth mentioning is the slightest of "fuzz" on the edge of the cover opening.
I have play tested the album completely on both sides. No detectable pops or clicks, and surface noise is virtually non-existent. The equipment used to play test was a Rega Planar3 with a recently re-tipped Adcom XC-LTII cartridge.
A word on grading: I am a collector, not normally a seller. I am grading this album exactly how I would expect it to be graded if I was buying. I strive to be honest in all my transactions and would rather under-promise, then over-deliver. In this instance I am convinced the album had only been played once or twice before it came into my possession. It was the only punk album in the collection I acquired.
Album will be shipped in a "pizza" style box with disc packaged separately outside of cover.
