Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for: The Swinging Blue Jeans – Blue Jeans A Swinging – RARE Original MONO Vinyl LP album from 1964.

First Pressing – 1N, 1N Matrix.

MONO

Front Laminate Flip-back sleeve.

His Masters Voice records.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are looking for a mint copy then this is NOT for you. However if you want a copy to play and enjoy and don't want to pay the sky high prices that these usually fetch then this could be the one for you. Please read the description below.

Vinyl Condition: Fair (Visually the record looks pretty awful. It is covered in scuffs, light marks, lines and light scratches etc and looks well used. However the record plays way better than it looks. It plays at least good to very good and sounds great. There are no sticks or jumps and there is very little surface noise. It really does play so much better than it looks and probably plays better than other visually better copies out there. Overall – lots of marks but plays great).

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Original HMV inner has a slight edge split but is otherwise ok).

Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Front laminated flip-back sleeve has some tears and creases to the top flip-back on the back. There are also stains etc. The front has some creases to the laminate and there is scrape to the bottom where it has scraped the laminate and card. There is a nick to the top edge but I not major. Overall apart from some other general age related wear the sleeve is good and does not have any writing or graffiti at all. Good for its age).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
