The Tears - Here Come the Tears (Vinyl LP Record, 2005) Suede, Bernard Butler, Brett Anderson

This is an extremely rare numbered vinyl LP of the The Tears (Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler formerly of Suede) and their only album 'Here Come The Tears'. Even though I have never played this record after it was purchased new from Fopp in September 2008. It had been stored in a record box until now and even though it had never been played I am listing as used for the following reasons:

Firstly, there is a price sticker on the front which I am not going to attempt to remove, you can see this in the photos, it is peeling at the corners. There may be a way to cleanly remove this should you wish to and there are plenty of discussions amongst record collectors on the internet as to how best to attempt to remove the sticker. The sleeve is in excellent condition with no split seams. It was sold with no cellophane wrap, hence the price sticker on the cover itself.

Secondly, there is a slight reddish blemish on the bottom left hand corner of one side of the inner sleeve, again, I have taken a closer shot of this in the photos.

I cannot grade the vinyl but as I have stated, this record was never played (I don't even have the CD of it, something I need to rectify!). There are photos showing that the disc is slightly dusty, nothing that a good record brush won't rectify.

There are also a few of marks on the vinyl, one I have photographed on side A and one on side B. It may be wise to run this through a record cleaner before playing (as you always should, even with new vinyl), but I cannot guarantee how these marks affect the playback of the vinyl, I just don't have a working turntable to test this and therefore the vinyl is sold as seen, no returns and listed as honestly and as clearly as it can be.

It is a very early numbered copy (0298) and from only one source I could find on the internet, only the first 2000 copies were numbered.

If you are looking at this listing you very probably know this is an extremely difficult album to track down on vinyl and therefore it is up to you to make the choice as to whether to purchase the item with all the above taken into consideration.

The record will be sent well packaged in a sturdy record mailer.

From a smoke and pet free home, and has been stored vertically in an aluminium record box for around 16 years.
