Description
DECCA Album No. A-373, 23 M Series. Original 1944 pressing of the Disney classic on heavy 78 rpm vinyl. The cover is in excellent condition, except for small wear spots at the corners and at the bottom of the back cover. The vinyl albums themselves are in VG+ condition; there are small surface scuffs, but there appear to be no significant scratches that would affect playback. The records sound wonderful, and have that lovely warmth that makes vinyl so magical. The inner sleeves are all in excellent condition. This set also contains the original booklet that describes the story, a biography of Walt Disney, a piece about Walt Disney and Latin America, a biography of Charles Wolcott (the musical director), and a description of the instruments appearing on the album. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a complete piece from the Disney Wartime Era (1942-1949) in this condition.
