Description

An original 1st press of AFIA on the UK Decca label. Matrix 1A/1A. Stampers 1IXXX - placing it amongst the first few thousand copies ever made. Labels mention 'recording 1st published' and the deep groove is present. We also have the original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen light. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are vey nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. All I could detect were a few light crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side [e.g. paradise]. Plays great by and large - nice and clean.
Cover (Vg) Not up to the standard of the vinyl, but acceptable. The front is ok with a bit of laminate lift and some creasing around the edges. The rear has tanned in places but flipbacks are intact. A bit of edge wear in places but nothing epic. Text on the spine all fully intact with just a couple of stress creases. 
Inner (Vg) Tanning apparent. Bag present. No splits.
