Description
''Zoom'' by the Torques (pronounced Tor-kays). 1964 limited production pressing. recorded in Princeton, NJ by Kenneth Raymond Wight & Associates, Audio Engineers.
The Torques were composed of students from Phillips Academy Andover Ma. the band was 20 members strong including clappers(one of which is rumored to be G.W. Bush), they played surf hits of the day on a local prep school circuit.
The record is in good condition, no deep scratches, a couple minor pressing defects, all in all a good copy.
The front of the album cover is in good shape and displays well, with some minor edge wear, and one small dent on the bottom edge. I'd describe the rear as the same, except that it appears something was splashed on it at one time (visible in photos), so consider this when bidding. still, it's a hard to find 60s Garage/Surf album.
