Bookmark me as a favorite seller!   I still have a large collection of LPs and 45s to auction over the coming weeks -- just  in time for Christmas.  It's a 25 year collection -- dozens of LPs, 100s of 45s and picture sleeves, oddball paperbacks, books. Some very nice stuff.  Also, many other LPs/45s by John, Paul, George, Ringo and other classics like Tom Jones, Herb Alpert, the 4 Seasons, Pete Townsend, Elton John, Gary Newman, the James Bond soundtracks, etc., that I am strating to sell now...........something for everybody! 

I am starting this auction at an amazingly low price -- just 99 cents. 

This 45 is the first of MANY 45 vinyl classics from the 1950, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s I'll be selling now............ also a fair number of rare promotional/"DJ" 45s in this weeks auctions.......get them now!!

Up for auction is a very rare and valuable Disc Jocky version 45 record from 1969 on MGM Records.....by The Velvet Underground -- songs are "What Goes On/ Jesus".     

This 45 comes with the matching MGM Records paper sleeve.  The sleeve is in fantastic shape...no splits, tears, writing, labels or damage.  Says "The Greatest Name In Entertainment" on the side of the sleeve.

This 45 is in amazing shape for being 37 years old!  I grade this rare Disc Jockey 45 in MINT condition!  The tail off/waxing area has numerous etched markings:  K14057 and a "MR" (R comes off right leg of the M) in a circle, delta symbol 75960.  The other side shows K14507, 106164-1, "MR" in a circle and delta symbol 75960-X. 

I can't see any marks, scratches or even fingerprints on it!! Looks like it was never played or handled.

Really nice shape..........no disappointments with this 45 or the paper sleeve -- which has no splits or damage.  As you can see, no wear on the label, no stickers, no past owner's names, etc....superb! 

Buy this one for it's collectability as a DJ version, its condition and awesome matching MGM paper sleeve.......should play like new....if you care to...

Plz see pics.....I think they speak volumes!  I guarantee this one to be legit, not a counterfeit record!!  Plz don't let this one go by........as I don't have another.

Goldmine catalog of records, newest 5th Edition, page 1241, lists this 45 in NM condition at $200.  This record is MINT....looks like new.

I try to be conservative on grading -- I want happy buyers.  Low opening bid to get the ball rolling.   I accept PayPal, MOs and Cashier's Checks.

45 Condition Scale:  MINT: Looks like it just came from a store -- nearly perfect. NEAR MINT: Shiny with no visible defects. No writing, stickers, or other markings on label. EXCELLENT: Slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or scratches or warps. VERY GOOD: Some flaws, lack original gloss, possible writing* on label. GOOD: Scratches that may produce a pop or bounce, evident groove wear, etc. Cover Condition scale:  MINT: Looks like it just came from a store -- nearly perfect. NEAR MINT: No creases, rig wear or seam splits of any kind. EXCELLENT: Minor seam wear, possible splits (less than 1'' long), possible defacing. VERY GOOD: Some signs of handling, ring wear along middle or edge, more creases, more obvious seam splitting, possible writing or price tag. GOOD: Obvious wear or spots, but not abuse.
